The next-generation hypersonic aircraft are under development in some military facilities. Those systems should be more capable. And more powerful. And especially. Far more advanced than the old-fashion super- and hypersonic aircraft and missiles. This type of system is capable of reconnaissance, attack, and fighter missions.
Hypersonic aircraft can make the so-called ballistic jump. And it can use to shoot down low-earth orbiting satellites.
Miniature satellites can carry with same boosters. That is used in ASAT missiles. Hypersonic aircraft give more capacity for ASAT and miniature satellite carriers than F-15.
But hypersonic aircraft can also use in suborbital missions. In suborbital missions, it can use to carry miniature space shuttles like X-37B outside the atmosphere. In some mission profiles, the hypersonic aircraft pulls the miniature shuttle behind it.
The same way the miniature shuttle can pull the satellite launch capsule behind it. In that case, the miniature satellite carrier will pull outside the atmosphere and then the system can make miniature satellites rise higher than they rise otherwise.
So the system uses the ballistic or parabolic trajectory. And when the hypersonic aircraft is at the top point of the ballistic trajectory it releases a miniature shuttle or winged satellite carrier.
Then those shuttles can rise a little bit higher using their main engines. One of the missions of those small shuttles can be orbital recon missions. The miniature shuttle can take images and observe the satellites. But those shuttles can be perfect for ASAT (Anti-Satellite) and ABM (Anti-ballistic missile) roles.
