About business architecture and the image of the companies
https://kirjabloggaus.blogspot.com/
Kimmo Huosionmaa
Image of the corporation is one of the most important things when businessmen are choosing their partners for projects. And if the firm has a bad image, would that tell to other, that there would be very big troubles with those companies. At this time I must say, that the most important thing, what makes the image of the company is the people, who work there. The workers are similar to the chiefs of the company, and if we are honest, we must confess, that if people have problems with drugs or alcohol, they choose always people, who are similar with them to positions of that company.
If some company is full of people, who have problems with drugs, that would tell, that there is something, that denies taking that kind of problems in handling. If the drinking alcohol during the working day is the very usual way to spend time in some company, there are the chiefs, who accept the use of alcohol. And when we are thinking about persons, who are drunk while driving the machines during the working day, we must see that if the drinking alcohol is very open, that company would accept to drive drunken.
This causes troubles with insurance companies if somebody would break the things. But if the person is drunken while driving some machines, will that tell, that the problem is grown, because nobody has done anything about it. If the person would push high numbers of permille to the alcometer during the work day, that thing tells, this person would not do that for the first time. This kind of things has been accepted in the other workplaces.
Drinking alcohol openly in the workplace is the thing, what tells that this kind of actions is tolerated. Sometimes weak heads of working will buy the acceptance from their henchmen by accepting alcohol, and sometimes that will tell, that this person does not dare to take the situation in the control. And the question is, is this leader blackmailed for some reasons. Does that person hide something, what could take that chief to the jail? And is that thing something like hit-and-run, or is that some kind of drug dealing or some other serious crime?

The problematic colonization of the planet Mars

Kimmo Huosionmaa
There have been plans for making the stable base on the planet Mars, and that kind of things are very tricky because there are many social problems, what must be solved before the colony can be established. One of the greatest problems is the relationship between male and female members of the base because sexuality is one of the organic need of human being. And if there would be the stable colony, this kind of questions would be coming in the front of those persons, who would live in there.
A number of colonialists in that base must be quite high because the genome-material of those persons must keep rich enough, and there would be some problems with the colony. And that means the colony must have large buildings because all of the people must live and get food in that planet, where the conditions are not suitable for carbon-based life forms. That's why every action like plantations of the vegetables must stay inside the buildings. If the people make children in that base, that would cause that there would be growing generations, what would not even be visited on Earth, and this might cause many problems in those colonies, what would be established to planets, what have much weaker gravity than Earth. And sooner or later those colonies would separate from the control of Earth, and they would create their own cultural identity.
By this way, we humans have colonized our own planet. And probably those bases would start to travel between the stars without telling that to Earth. And this causes very funny thought in my mind. Are we sometimes before left from the Earth, and then lost the contact to those persons. That might mean, that those humanoids who flies with UFO:s might be humans, who have created impressive technology, and because of some natural disaster, those colonies have been forgotten.
This is of course only thinking, and there would not be any straight evidence of ancient super civilization. That is known as "Terminus hypothesis". That situation would be in front of us if we in some day at the future establish bases to other planets. And in some scenarios that would cause the war between Earth and those colonies. This is the very interesting question to think. When we are going to make colonies, we must choose the most capable individuals for that mission, and that means persons, who have the high level of intelligence.
When we are talking about the sexual relationship between those persons, we must understand that the Mars station is not any kind of Apollo capsule. There must be free time and privacy more than those Apollo capsules. And this mission is quite different than some trip to Mars. Those persons, who travel to that colony are a different kind of persons than professional military men, who flies the spacecraft. Those colonialists are probably geologists, astronomers, medical experts, botanists, building and engineering specialists, whose existence is critically important to that mission. They are needed for scientific work and maintain the station.
Also growing food is very important in that mission. And they have the different attitude for rules than some military man. This makes that kind of mission very difficult. If there would born children, they would have problems on the Earth, because the weak gravity makes their bodies weaker than people, who live on Earth. I wrote this text because there was one very interesting article on the Internet about this case. And as we know, that everything is different in the space.
The radiation what comes from the sun would cause chromosomal mutations for that fetus, and of course, the parents must have very much support from the community. And of course, that is the route to stable space civilization, what origins are on the Earth. We don't know when this happens, but sooner or later we must start to exploit the resources of another planets and asteroids. The time is when we have used all natural resources of some elements and materials, and those materials are starting to bring to the Earth. Then we would make our first colonies to our solar system.

The problems with automation and society
http://crisisofdemocracticstates.blogspot.fi/p/the-problems-with-automation-and-society.html
Kimmo Huosionmaa
In this text, I would handle the automation mainly in the visual angle of sociology and national security. When we are thinking about the use of robots as the production, we must understand the reason, why they are so popular. Robots can make almost everything in production side better than human, and there would no need to pay salaries for the machines. Robots never make mistakes, the people who make programs for robots are making mistakes, and this is one of the worst weakness of those machines.
There is a technique called "CAM", what means "Computer Aided Manufacturing". This term means technology, where the CAD (Computer Aided Design) picture would send straight to the robots, and and then automatized manufacturing process would start. The most advanced version of CAM is 3D printing technology, what allows to make any product by using the printer, what makes 3D objects by using steel, plastic or carbon fiber.
The problem with computers is that they would not have imagined, and they would not actually think anything. This means that if there is an error in the CAD picture, what was imputed to manufacturing robots is an error and nobody notices it, would the large series of those products sour, and that would make worse for the company than any human worker ever can make. In this scenario, even millions of products could be usefulness, because some engineer has made mistake while making the picture for robots. Those printers are very interested in military forces because they allow making military products like Drones and even heavy combat equipment like tanks in the operational area.
Those systems might also bring the very dangerous element to war because it allows making "black systems" what means airplanes and other equipment, what is not found in the inventory of military forces. And if the system can make spare parts for aircraft or tanks, could those parts used also for making complete products. But when we are thinking the problems of the automation in the social angle of view, we must understand that growing population of the human race, would need something to do. If we are thinking about "ghost factories", where is only robot workers, we are facing the problems of mass unemployment.
People need something to do, and if they would not get any work, they would start to hang in shopping centers. In the works cases, what have seen in books and some futuristic movies all workers have been replaced by robots. And in this kind of version of the production, the profits what company get is very high. Robots can work non-stop and when there is no need for production, would the lines shut down. And the company doesn't have then pay even the electric bill. But in this scenario, there would no need for the human workers, and this would mean massive social problems in the society. This scenario is the highest level of capitalism, what man can ever imagine.

Gift of the luck is not always same for the group

Barge Haulers on the Volga Ilya Repin (1870-1873) |
Kimmo Huosionmaa
Barge Haulers on the Volga is a portrait, where great Russian artist thinks about work. This portrait raises the question in the people head: who actually does the job? There are many aspects in this portrait, and one of them is, who actually does everything in the state? Who goes to war in if the ruler of the state would want to go to the war?
In the real life is always people, who get more about their jobs than others in that group. The role of the suffering is always reserved to workers, who don’t, of course, have any education. This portrait might inspire Karl Marx or Friedrich Engels in the Surplus Value Theory, what has transformed in the hands of sociologists to the theory, what has the same name, but different content and message to the people.
In sociology, The Surplus Value Theory means that some workers don’t do anything in their workplace, and the leaders of the state would see different things in the same thing than other people. When high-class aristocrat told other people about the barge-haulers, they meant the people, who owned those vessels. When the owners of those vessels told about those barge haulers, they meant the captains of those vessels.
They didn’t mean the men who pulled the vessels. And this is the very good thing to think even in the modern working life. If we were captains of that vessel, we would do that job even 12 hours per day, but those men who pull this thing would not stand that long. In this picture is a message that even if the persons have the same salary for this work, then another person would get more than others. The superiority official makes light and easy days, but the people who pull this thing has very hard work to do.
In this picture is the good message about the work of the boss. This person might put all work to his henchmen, and then he must not do anything. If the person doesn’t do single work during his workday, this might make those days boring. And that kind of place is actually very light for those persons, who could do even 16 hours working day in their offices. So this is the message of this famous portrait, what is a very good example of the Russian realism from 19th. century.
