One of the most dangerous places on Earth places on Great Britain, and it's called "The Strid". That place is actually a river, what seems quite calm, but it's the place, where nobody ever came up alive. "The Strid" or officially Bolton Abbey is a place, where is something, what kills people.

And in some rumors, there is some kind of sea anemones, that would cause the death of the people in this place. In this theory, those little sea anemones are living on the rocks at the bottom of the river. And when the swimmer would be thrown to the rocks the sea anemones would burn that poor person to death.

This happens also in the air, and when the sweat or other damp would face carbon dioxide, the carbonic acid is forming. And if the concentration of that chemical is high enough, that would cause bad injuries, even the person uses gas masks. And  that acid can burn lungs and cause death, even if the person could be rescued from that kind of places

But there is no sign about this strange phenomenon, and there is another explanation, what is conducting with the bubbles, what is rising to the surface of the river. The carbon dioxide can cause death in the very high concentration in the air. But in the water, the carbon dioxide is forming the carbonic acid, what is used in lemonades. If the concentration of this acid rises too high, it would burn the skin and cause death.

Another way is that there would be sulfur in the rocks. If the sulfur is concentrating with water, it would form sulfurous acid ( chemical formula H^2SO^3), what is the very corrosive chemical combination. And maybe this causes that the water would be extremely acid. Maybe some of those explanations are the thing, what causes that "The Strid" is the most dangerous places on Earth.

Will humans survive the sun's red giant stage?

"As the Sun matures into a Red Giant, the oceans will boil and Earth will become uninhabitable." (The Conversation, The sun won’t die for 5 billion years, so why do humans have only 1 billion years left on Earth?) Sooner or later, all stars use their hydrogen. And then they turn into red giants. Sun is a yellow G spectral class star that turns into a white dwarf. But before that, the sun will turn larger.  The sun turns red and that means. It starts to send more infrared radiation. This thing will turn Earth into a hellish temperature that vaporizes water from Earth.  It's possible. That Earth will also vaporize with Venus and Mercury. Some scientists say that we have only 1 billion years to move farther in the solar system. The habitable zone will go to the distance of Jupiter and Saturn, and maybe humans find a safe place in those distant moons.  It's possible that before Sun will grow too large humans make large groups of mirror satellites or large shields that sho...

Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.

"Researchers have created a novel metamaterial that can dynamically tune its shape and properties in real-time, offering unprecedented adaptability for applications in robotics and smart materials. This development bridges the gap between current materials and the adaptability seen in nature, paving the way for the future of adaptive technologies. Credit: UNIST" (ScitechDaily, Metamaterial Magic: Scientists Develop New Material That Can Dynamically Tune Its Shape and Mechanical Properties in Real-Time) Metamaterials can change their properties in an electric- or electro-optical field.  An electro-optical activator can also be an IR state, which means. The metamorphosis in the material can thermally activate.  AI is the ultimate tool for metamaterial research. Metamaterials are nanotechnical- or quantum technical tools that can change their properties, like reflection or state from solid to liquid when the electric or optical effect hits that material. The metamaterial can cru...

The new observations and observation tools are revolutionizing nanotechnology and the way of thinking in physics.

ScitechDaily.com "A new study has overturned a fundamental principle of physics by demonstrating that similarly charged particles can attract each other in a solution, with the effect varying between positive and negative charges depending on the solvent. This discovery has significant implications for various scientific processes, including self-assembly and crystallization". (ScitechDaily, Opposites Attract, Likes Repel? Scientists Overturn Fundamental Principle of Physics) The research reveals the importance of solvent structure at the interface in determining interparticle interactions, challenging long-held beliefs and indicating a need for a re-evaluation of our understanding of electromagnetic forces.
