If. We cannot cross the speed of light. We can make a shortcut through the fourth dimension.

What could interstellar supertechnology look like? 

The WARP drive is something that we might not make quite soon. That system requires enormous-scale technology. That technology could someday be in our hands. And then we must remember. That many common things were impossible only a couple of years ago. We might remember that things like artificial intelligence were sci-fi only a short time ago. Same. Way. Aircraft, spacecraft, and many other things are quite new inventions. 

In some visions, the WARP drive could involve a physical structure. The WARP bubble could be made. In. A giant ball. That seems like the Death Star. From. Star Wars movies. The craft travels in that giant ball. Then the ion layer. Physical layer in that ball. Will be put. To spin very fast. If. That layer can have a speed. That. Is almost the speed of light. There must be another structure in that bubble. That structure can break the cosmic speed limit. If. The outer layer spins very fast. The outer layer can spin. At. A speed. Of about 60% of the speed of light. The inner structure must spin at about 50% of the speed of light. That makes time travel backward in that structure, 

That system can suck energy from inside that ball. In. Some other versions. Things like fullerene nets can involve particles that start to spin. If. Energy travels to that ball’s shell. That layer can form negative mass. Or virtual negative mass. That creates a WARP bubble in that ball. One thing that can create virtual mass. Can be quantum-sized black holes. In. The graphene layer in the ball. 

Then the system can use some energy beam. To stretch that bubble. Then the system pushes the craft into that stretching bubble. The craft will stay at a stable point in the bubble. And the bubble transports the craft. But there is one thing. The system can make a layer in the bubble spin at the speed of light. That stops time in the bubble. If. Something moves in that bubble. That makes time travel back in that object. 

The Alcubierre drive, proposed by Miguel Alcubierre, is a theoretical concept. It could cross the speed of light. The system involves horizontal particle accelerators. Those particle accelerators could act like quantum drills. They could create electromagnetic. Or. A quantum tornado through spacetime. That quantum tornado could create the wormhole. The system can send energy impulses. From. The center. Of its body. 

To push the electromagnetic tornado away from the structure. So the WARP drive could be the system. That makes the electromagnetic wormhole through spacetime. It could make that thing also by making the WARP bubble, and then it could stretch that bubble. That requires lots of energy. Another way is to make that bubble rotate. In some visions. The futuristic supertechnology.  That involves WARP technology. It could have a WARP bubble. That is closed into the physical structure. As. I wrote in the prologue. 

In quantum mechanics, wormholes. Or Einstein-Rosen bridges connect space and time. The idea is that the wormhole is like a spinning tornado or cylinder that can move information through the universe. In some models. The wormhole forms between atoms where the quantum field is extremely large. Those atoms could be in very thin, cold gas. 

When quantum fields between atoms form the entirety. Quantum tunnels across the universe. When energy moves through those tunnels, it creates an effect that seems like a quantum thermal pump. That means the quantum field pulls more and more energy against it. The idea is that a spinning field or quantum tornado can reach the speed of light. That quantum tornado stops time inside it. And when something travels inside it. That means time travels backward. 

Near black holes, the time dilation is very strong. Inside. The black hole condenses the energy. Or quantum fields around it. That thing causes time dilation. At. The speed of light. Time stops. And. When the gravitational field turns so strong. And escape velocity turns higher. Than. The speed of light. Time starts to travel backward. 

One of the most exotic versions of the interstellar spacecraft. Don’t move. Very fast. But it turns time travel backwards. The system can be the Tipler cylinder.  Rocket engines are connected to that system. When. We think of time forward as the fourth dimension. And time backward is the fifth dimension. The other three dimensions are in space. That means the craft could stop at a point in time. If. It moves. That. Makes time move backward. 

Than the speed of light. That. Causes time to travel backwards. This causes an interesting paradox. What if? The spacecraft travels in an environment where time is stopped? The idea is that the spacecraft is an extremely fast-spinning cylinder. The so-called Tipler cylinder, or Tipler time machine, is a theoretical system. 

The fast-spinning cylinder causes strong time dilation. The. Original idea of the Tipler cylinder. Or Tipler time machine, is that. The cylinder could somehow spin faster than the speed of light. That turns time travel backward. But then back to our universe. We know that crossing the speed of light is impossible. But what if we can create a cylinder that spins at 80% of the speed of light? The craft must reach a speed. That is 21% of the speed of light. That means the system creates speed. That is 101 % of the speed of light. The cylinder can have multiple layers like an onion. And those cylinders can rotate in opposite directions. And there could be an ion layer between those cylinders. That layer can spin very fast. And then the rocket engines are connected to that engine. 

So if we think about the spacecraft that can stop time inside it. We can say that the system can move forward if the ion layer speed is 98% of the speed of light. That system needs to reach only 3% of the speed of light to travel back in time. If. The system can stop time inside it. Traveling through time requires that the system can move. 

If time is stopped and the raft moves at the speed of a snail. That means that the craft is in its location just when it starts its journey. Time dilation is caused. An effect that there is no time in the craft. 

In that object. That travels in the quantum field. The WARP drive can act like this. One. One of the hypothetical WARP drives. Or. Its variants are called “Kugelblitz”. The drive itself is the particle accelerator that surrounds the spacecraft. When. Those accelerators work. They make particles travel as close to the speed of light as possible. The Kugelblitz, or cosmic snail, moves as fast as a snail. But it must not travel faster. The idea is that the cosmic snail jumps into the fourth dimension. Or. Otherwise, that system stops time in the craft. The Kugelblitz system condenses the quantum field around the craft. It is based on a theoretical structure called a kugelblitz black hole. That black hole forms straight from quantum fields. 

When the cosmic snail moves forward. This. Movement reverses time travel backward. Or rather, to put it. The system anchors the craft at a certain point in space and time. The system stops time in the craft’s environment. This means. The system. That. We call. The “cosmic snail”. Just travels in time. Or it uses the fourth dimension as a shortcut.
